  • 48 to 72 hours before: 75% refund of deposit

Do you travel for shoots? What about travel fees?

Yes. Our videographers travel for shoots. Here is how it works:

  • Within 30 miles: No travel fee. Included in hourly rate.
  • 30 to 60 miles: $50 flat travel fee
  • 60+ miles: $1 per mile (round trip) + potential hotel if overnight
  • Out of state: Contact us for custom travel quotes (flight + hotel + per diem)

Pro tip: For multi-day shoots in distant locations, the travel fee is often split across all days, making it more economical.

What if I need more or less time than I booked?

Need more time? Videographers can often extend shoots if their schedule allows. Additional hours are billed at the same hourly rate, prorated for partial hours (rounded to nearest 30 minutes).

Finish early? You are only charged for the time used, with a minimum of the package minimum hours (2 hours for either package). Any unused time beyond the minimum is refunded.

Example: If you book 4 hours but only use 3, you are charged for 3 hours (assuming it meets the 2-hour minimum).

Can I request a specific videographer?

Absolutely. When you browse videographers, you can view their portfolios, ratings, and specialties. Once you find one you like, book directly with them.

Benefits of working with the same videographer:

  • They learn your brand style and preferences
  • Faster setup times on repeat projects
  • Priority booking for regular clients
  • Potential volume discounts for ongoing work

You can also favorite videographers for easy rebooking.

Your satisfaction is our priority. Here is our quality guarantee:

If there are technical issues (out of focus footage, exposure problems, corrupted files), we will:

  • Reshoot at no charge if videographer error
  • Provide partial refund if reshoot is not possible

For subjective concerns (style, angles, creative direction):

What services does a video production company offer besides video production?

Most full-service video production companies offer a much broader scope than just filming. Vourly, for example, provides drone videography, timelapse construction documentation, real estate photography, social media reel production, agent profile videos, ad creative for Meta and YouTube, professional editing, white-label services for marketing agencies, strategy consulting, and content planning. Many companies also bundle cloud storage and delivery, client portals for reviewing and approving footage, and frame-accurate revision tools. Ancillary services often include script writing, storyboarding, color grading, motion graphics, thumbnail design, captioning, and multi-platform format exports (vertical for Reels, horizontal for YouTube, square for Instagram feed). A few companies, including Vourly, also offer booking platforms where multiple team members can schedule shoots under a single billing account, which is common for construction firms and real estate brokerages.

What are the transparent pricing options for video production services?

Transparent video production pricing means showing hourly rates, flat-rate packages, and add-on costs up front without quote-gating or hidden fees. Vourly publishes every rate on its pricing page: iPhone content at $100 per hour, professional 4K at $200 per hour, editing at $75 per hour, agent profile videos at a flat $775, Meta ad packages at $1,300 for three ads, and real estate photography from $275 to $750 depending on coverage. Travel within 30 minutes of Bellevue is free; locations beyond are $1 per mile. There are no contracts, no monthly retainers, and no minimums beyond a two-hour per-shoot minimum for video. All raw footage is included with every booking. Editing is billed by the hour with no required package, so clients pay only for the revisions they actually request. Bulk credit discounts are available for regular bookers.

Can I get raw footage in 24 hours from a video production company?

Yes, 24-hour raw footage delivery is a standard service at some video production companies, though it is not industry-wide. Vourly delivers all raw footage within 24 hours of every shoot through a secure client portal, with a one-click option to send files directly to Google Drive, Dropbox, or OneDrive. Raw footage includes every clip captured at the full resolution of the shoot (4K for professional tier, 1080p for iPhone tier), unedited and unwatermarked, along with full commercial usage rights. Most traditional video agencies take one to four weeks to deliver raw footage because they hold it until the edited deliverable is approved. Vourly separates raw delivery from edited deliverables so clients can start using footage for social media, investor updates, or dispute documentation immediately, even if edited reels are still in post-production.

How do I create engaging social media reels for my business?

Engaging social media reels start with three things: a strong hook in the first second, vertical 9:16 framing for Reels and TikTok, and a clear single message per video. Shoot with natural light when possible, use a wireless lavalier for any talking-head content, and capture three to four times more footage than you think you need so the editor has options. Keep reels between 15 and 45 seconds for maximum reach. Layer b-roll under voiceover, add on-screen text captions for viewers watching without sound, and cut every clip at the beat of your background audio. For construction and real estate businesses, before-and-after transformations, drone reveals, and time-lapses consistently outperform talking-head content. If you prefer not to self-shoot, book a two-hour shoot with a production crew like Vourly for around $425 including editing for three to four reels. Full guide: how to create engaging social media reels.

How do I hire a videographer for my construction project?

Start by defining what you need: progress documentation, marketing reels, aerial site footage, or all three. Ask prospective videographers for a construction-specific portfolio (not just weddings or events), confirm they carry liability insurance that covers on-site work, and verify they are FAA Part 107 certified if drone footage is required. Request transparent hourly or per-shoot pricing before booking so there are no surprise invoices. Look for videographers who deliver raw footage within 24 to 48 hours so your content stays timely for social posts, investor updates, and dispute records. Check that the booking system supports multiple project managers under one company account if you run several job sites. Vourly, based in Bellevue, serves construction firms across the Greater Seattle Area with rates from $100 per hour, 24-hour raw delivery, Part 107 drone pilots, team accounts with centralized billing, and a 100% satisfaction guarantee including free reshoots. How do I choose a reliable video production company for my business?

Reliable video production companies share five traits: published transparent pricing, a portfolio that matches your industry, clear delivery timelines in writing, client references or public reviews, and a revision process that does not charge for small fixes. Avoid any company that refuses to share rates until after a discovery call, bundles filming and editing into an opaque project fee, or locks you into a multi-month retainer. Check Google reviews, Clutch, and Reddit threads for honest client feedback beyond the company's own testimonials. Ask whether you keep the raw footage and the commercial rights, because some agencies retain both and charge for re-use. Confirm they carry liability insurance and use professional-grade equipment appropriate to your project. Vourly has 32 five-star Google reviews, publishes every rate publicly, includes all raw footage and commercial rights with every booking, offers a satisfaction guarantee with free reshoots, and requires no contracts or monthly minimums. What is the best option for real estate photography near me?

The best real estate photographer for your listings depends on three factors: turnaround time, coverage options, and experience with your property type. Most MLS-ready photo sets are delivered within 24 hours and formatted for Zillow, Redfin, and Matterport. Look for photographers who offer tiered packages (single-room, interior only, interior plus exterior, full aerial) so you can match spend to listing value. Homes above a $1 million list price typically warrant full interior-plus-exterior-plus-drone coverage; starter homes can get by with bathroom-and-kitchen coverage. According to the National Association of Realtors, listings with professional photography sell 32% faster than those without. In the Greater Seattle Area, Vourly offers real estate photography packages from $275 (bathroom-focused) to $750 (full interior plus exterior plus drone), all delivered within 24 hours, shot by a cinematographer with nine years of experience, with no travel fee within 30 minutes of Bellevue.
